Ok ~ so we're finally getting with the ages and posting our first blog site. Here's a quick recap of our lives for those that don't get to see us as much as we would like.
Selah is now 2 1/2 years old and we're loving this stage to death. She is quite the chatter box ~ our quiet car rides have turned into her letting us know about the trees, the cows outside, horsies, hot air balloons, bridges, wanting us to sing along to Veggie Tales, and oh just about anything else you can think to say! Her favorite things to do are go swimming (typically on Tuesdays with Nana) and go to the park, any park! Everyday she wakes up and asks what we're doing today. I can't resist that so I try to make a little adventure out of everyday. She is adorable with Judah and loves telling anyone who will listen that he is her little brother.
Judah is going to be 8 weeks old this week and time is just flying by. He is our little smiler ~ he is very laid back, just like his daddy. He completely melts my heart with his sweet smiles, even at 3 am! Unlike Selah, he loves the swing and his play mats, so that makes my life with two kiddos much easier. He is very predictable ~ you know when he's tired and he definitely lets you know when he is hungry!! He is growing like a weed and last week weighed in at 10 lbs. 7 ounces!
Derek and I are adjusting to life with our little girl and boy. He has been an amazing help to me and even lets me sleep in on the weekends! Selah now prefers daddy giving her a bath since he overflows the tub with bubbles!!
Alrighty ~ that is all for now, but I will do my best to keep this up to date.
Love to you all,
Hope

Hey Derek & Hope,
I love it! Selah has grown so much, since we were there at Christmas! You have great pics of her and of Judah. Joanie sent me one of Judah last month and he looked so big then! Thanks for doing the blog.
Maybe we'll see you by the end of the year...hope so.--Aunt Laura
