Go Buckeyes!

Here are a few pictures from Alec's 1st birthday party this weekend. In case you didn't notice the theme, it was an Ohio State Buckeyes party. I couldn't resist these pictures of the kiddos with Derek ~ too adorable! By the way, Buckeyes beat Northwestern 58-7!

4 Months Old and the "Singing Girl"

Our boy has turned 4 months old ~ where has the time gone? He amazes me every day with his sweet spirit, he is just so darn happy! He got a little cold this week (thanks to his big sister who likes to share!) and through the sneezes and snotty nose out came his bright big smile! He has now graduated to rolling from his back to his tummy in just the matter of a day! It was a crazy day watching him roll over that way initially by accident and then it just clicked. Now that is all he wants to do when you put him on his back. Here is a little video to see our big guy in action!

Selah has always been quite the little singer, but lately it seems the songs never end. She discovered her little piano and microphone hidden down in the basement and was beside herself wanting to put on a show for us. When she is all done with a song, she has started to say "Thank-you, Thank-you" when you clap for her! I decided to capture her on video as well to share just a brief glimpse of what our day sounds like! Enjoy!

Labor Day Weekend

Another fair (Great Geauga County Fair) ~ and our girl has conquered her fears!! With a little encouragement from her big cousin, Morgan, Selah braved out the Merry Go Round ~ way to go sweet girl!! She loved it so much that she cried for more when it was all done!!


We had a nice relaxing Labor Day hanging out in the back of Grandma Austin's yard. The kids picked apples, played in the sand box and chased after balls all day ~ while the men played MANY games of very competitive croquet. Us women, well, we just were lazy and watched everyone enjoy themselves!

Judah is now taking in the scenery in his new Bumbo chair. He loves it ~ pretty funny to see a little 3 month old with his arms over the chair with not a concern in the world!
